Oct 16: Joint injections
Hunter-jumper horse developed laminitis after corticosteroid joint injections intended to improve movement. The show horse was healthy but a little stiff in stifles. Laminitis developed overnight, and horse was reluctant to move and in distress. The trainer asked veterinarian to prescribe Laminil, which was delivered the next day.
Oct 17: Treatment
Horse displayed acute laminitis in all feet.
“Laminil arrived. Thank you.”
The veterinarian performed perfusions on all four feet and began IM injections and daily cream.
Oct 19: Much improved
“She is much improved today per my assistant at home. I‘m driving home from a show, and I will be there later tonight to get a better assessment.”
Oct 25: Doing fantastic (two videos)
Vet and farrier were out yesterday to re-radiograph, and she has zero rotation and is completely sound. We’re still doing IM injection and the cream, but the owner was in tears she was so thrilled.
“Absolutely can’t thank you enough. It truly is an incredible product!”
Nov 7: Completely recovered
“Owner’s first ride.”
